The factories have long since closed in my local town, many converted to shops and even a cinema, giving new life to the red brick buildings.

I love their geometry and history …

Geometric rooftops

and I can’t help but wonder about the complex knitting designs that could be inspired by them!

There’s inspiration everywhere, isn’t there?

What has reminded you of knitting while you have been out and about this week? I’d love to hear about it!

Oh yes, love those circles and arches contrasting with the triangles – what will you knit with them? It has to be brick and stone colours, of course.
