Floor tiles and more tea

Today’s unexpected knitting inspiration came from my holiday photos. These stunning floor tiles are in St David’s Cathedral, in Wales.

Colour, pattern, precision, balance, craftsmanship …

And the Refectory is impressive too 🙂

What has inspired you this week? I’d love to hear about it!

Awesome! I have some Welsh ancestors, one of these days maybe I’ll be able to visit across the pond…Camrose, Haverfordwest…maybe be able to see where they came from, where they lived out their lives…probably knitting throughout…

Ooo, St David’s cathedral is only half an hour’s drive from Camrose! Lots of creative inspiration all along that coastline – a lovely place to knit! Thanks for commenting and I hope you’ll soon be able to visit Camrose as part of your family tree research 🙂
