A cheery sight to lift the spirits – blue skies and bunting!
This photo was taken at Melin Tregwynt, a traditional yet forward-thinking woollen mill, located between Fishguard and St David’s in Pembrokeshire.
Each of the ‘flags’ is made of fabric woven at the mill, demonstrating a small selection of the extensive range of designs available.
Step inside the mill shop, and you find the full range of designs and colourways in the form of blankets, cushions, chairs, coats, capes, skirts, bags, purses, hats …
This is one corner …
Across the pathway, a sign beckons you to take a look at the looms in action …
Interesting but noisy!
I wonder what this fabric is destined to be?
I hope you have blue skies to lift your spirits today, even if you don’t have bunting to go with it!
🙂
