The story continues!
From inauspicious beginnings and a false start, this yarn seems to be fulfilling its destiny.
There’s quite a lot of stocking stitch, which had threatened to be boring, but the pattern has enough detail to hold my interest and I’ve been making steady progress. I’ve just started the yoke, attaching the sleeves to the body, so it is beginning to take shape.
It’s good to stop and reflect on how far it has come.
Have any of your projects reached a significant stage this week? I’d love to hear about them!
🙂
Oh that is sooo pretty! It’s going to look gorgeous!! Brava…
I finished Creature Comforts yesterday (blocked and all) and it’s brilliant, really pleased with it – the yarn is a supersoft Malabrigo and the whole thing is a squooshy delight… Also done the finishing on Warriston, given it a good soak and it’s drying as I write; the Shetland grew a good deal when it was wet, so waiting a little anxiously for the result, will it swamp the recipient?!! But it seems softer already. Next up, finish the Iðunn off and keep at the stash!

Thank you Laura – I’m quite pleased with it so far … It’s not finished yet though and it could still all go horribly wrong 😉 I’ll let you know!
