Wednesday WIP – another sock

It has been a while since I mentioned a sock … Fear not – there’s always a sock in progress! image This is my go-to pattern – a simple shape that supports the self-patterning yarn texture, with a slipped stitch heel flap for added strength. The yarn is Wendy Roam Fusion 4-ply, 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon, in the Heath colourway, shade 2021. I’m using 2.5 mm Knit-Pro double pointed needles.

I’m liking the subtle colour changes and the overall effect, and I think they’ll be warm and practical, as well as pretty.

Can you recommend any sock yarns that I should try? I’d love to hear about them!
