This was a relatively quick project – about 6 or 7 hours from start to finish, completed in half hours bursts. Each row was VERY long – 2.16 metres of crochet, and the fringes make the final scarf 2.58 metres in total.
The wool is Drops Big Delight in the Sunrise colourway, 100% wool in an aran weight.ย I love the colours and I’m sure this scarf will brighten any grey winter days!
Have you finished a project this week? I’d love to hear all about it!
I love the colors too!

Absolutely what we need at this time of year – and how well it looks against the blue of your carpet.

Thanks Catherine ๐ You’re right about the pleasing contrast with the carpet – I hadn’t noticed, but it does work well. That’s your natural artist’s eye at work ๐

It’s beautiful! Could you write to me the pattern, and how many drops delight yarn need for this project? (2 or 3?) ๐

Thanks Heni! I used 2 balls of yarn. I didn’t have a pattern. There are 165 (UK) trebles over 9 rows.I added a border (UK double crochet plus 2 chains) all around, before adding some long fringes. You needn’t do the border? I can’t remember what size hook I used – perhaps a 10 mm? I hope this helps! Please send me a photo of your finished scarf – I’d love to see!
