World-wide Knit In Public Day – better late than never

Yesterday was officially World Wide Knit In Public Day … and as I didn’t go anywhere yesterday, I did my knitting in public today instead!

Coughton Court is a Grade 1 listed building near Alcester, Warwickshire, and has been home to the Throckmorton family since 1409. It was gifted to the National Trust in 1946, with a 300 year lease to the family, who still live there.

My primary focus today was to take in the sights and scents of the beautiful gardens – the Rose Labyrinth is in full bloom and smells divine. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A cup of tea, with some knitting, was an added bonus!

Did you knit in public this weekend? I’d love to hear all about it!
