A Friday F.O. (Finished Object)

A couple of weeks ago, I shared with you a photo of the pieces of a cardigan, Olivette, waiting to be finished …

Thanks to a week’s holiday (and accompanied by a good audio book), I’ve now had the opportunity to tackle the final stages, which means I can share this with you as an F.O. – a Finished Object. As you can see, I’ve sewn the pieces together, finished the neckband and added the perfect buttons. I’ve already worn it and have received several positive comments about it – I can recommend both the pattern and the yarn.

And of course this now creates space in my project bag for a new WIP (work in progress) – yay!

Have you finished a project this week? I’d love to hear about it!

  1. Wow – That looks super comfy 🙂 You should be really proud of it! Looks beautiful. I haven’t at F). But I do have a WIP – I’m currently knitting a blanket on some circular needles – https://kirstyholloway72.wordpress.com/2015/06/12/photography-blogging-101-day-4/

Thanks Kirsty 🙂 Your blanket looks fabulous – a big undertaking but it will definitely be worth the effort. Thanks for commenting!
